Wainscoting is commonly applied to the lower third of the wall. However, more and more people are remodeling with paneling that covers two-thirds of the wall. Just wanting to add a touch of pizaz to the interior design? Consider adding wainscot panels to a full accent wall. Whether taking the design a step further or remaining minimalist, columns are the "pillar" of traditional trimwork... no pun intended. Commonly used for wrapping lally columns or capping an entryway, the design possibilities are limitless. Box (or hollow) beams are an alternative that look great on your fifth wall! They can be found in quaint designs of parallel runs, to ridge beams with rafters; more elaborate arrangements of coffered ceilings may or may not include paneling. No matter, which class of millwork or combination you go with, you may be considering whether to stain or paint. Juxtaposing painted trimwork with stained casework helps balance out a rooms lighting. However, when wood species and stain match, the magnificence of adding stained trimwork to stained casework cannot be underestimated.

Only LuisLynzie™ offers an out-of-the-box approach to affordable elegance. All architectural millwork comes unfinished (ready to paint or stain) and is easily installed without specialized labor or equipment. Custom sizes and trimwork designs are available upon request. Visit your local lumber yard today and ask for LuisLynzie™... don’t settle for anything less!
